Uploading Student Work to Turnitin.Com

Okay. D-Day is here. It’s time to submit your paper to Turnitin.

How do you do this?

Start by logging in. You’ll be brought to the class that you are enrolled in.

Click on the class name and you’ll see the paper that the teacher has assigned, as well as details about that paper, including the deadline.

Since your paper is due, you’ll need to submit your paper.

Submitting and Uploading the Paper

There are three steps to this process.

Step 1 of 3

Alright. Time to upload it.

Put your last name in under the submission title so that your professor will know whose work is being submitted. Other clarifying information is also helpful.

Find the file on your computer. Browse until you find it and select it as the file to upload. You may have to search different drives, folders, and directories to find the right file.

Make sure that you do not submit a corrupted file to Turnitin, as teachers and the software can detect this.

Click the upload button and your file will begin to upload. Your file is uploaded once the progress bar is done.

Step 2 of 3

Now, you can review and check your paper to make sure it is accurate. Review the preview, author, and title information.

Looks pretty good? Submit it now.

If you have submitted the wrong file, go back to step one and search for the correct file. Be sure to double check everything here. It’s better to measure twice and cut once.

Step 3 of 3

You should get a green check mark saying that your submission has been submitted successfully.

It may take a while to get the report back confirming your submission. Check your email.

That’s all there is to it.

That’s how you upload your paper.

Good luck!

Be sure to do your research. Good papers can save the world!
