Ҝ vs K – Foreign Fonts and Turnitin

There are many different alphabets around the world. Most readers of this blog are students who are attending English speaking universities and who use the English version of Turnitin.

Think about what alphabet is being used when you submit a paper to Turnitin.

Consider the letter Ҝ. This is different from in good ol’ USA English.

In the past, changing American letters to other alphabets’ letters that look nearly identical could trick Turnitin. This technique is now outdated and Turnitin does not fall for it.

Be aware of this and don’t use outdated techniques!
